Taiwan

Had five days of sightseeing and shopping.Bought a lot of food,a few shirts and a jacket and anime merchandise.Of course,Hakuoki merchandise and Vampire Knight phonesticker.Had a custom made name stamp,key chains and a prize won from the arcade machine.Hahaha,the first.People in Taiwan are marvellous.Candid,humble and natural.Love their roads especially in the mountains.Backlanes were full of special shops.Lots of dogs and cats loitering and shopping with their owners.7Eleven there were stocked with so many types of drinks,ChocoLatte,Taiwan beer,Fruit milks,you name it.Oden,pau,tea eggs,bento sets,microwave packed food.Onigiri,soft boiled eggs.....etc.So many mango shaved ice and stinky tofu.Oh lord,took a bite and threw out.Pigs blood was smooth and nice.Went Jiufen,Pingxi,Yehliu,Tamsui,Shihlin,Rouhe night market,Huaxi,All around Ximending for five days.Took trains,taxi mostly.Their mrt standard ticket is actually a chip that resembles those used in casinos.Tamsui was beautiful with many interesting stalls selling interesting food ,souveneir and bike as well scooter rental which you don't need to posses a license.Cycling in Bali island and taking a trip to the temple.Many interesting fruit and fried squid,grilled conch and snails.Preserved plums,anchovy soaked in chilli.Bought a bottle of millet wine from Jiufen.Their white gourd juice with honey tasted like watermelon juice howeve it was refreshing.Anyway,social aspect.Can see many couples loitering around like its a weekend.The nightlife never ends.Along the way in Huaxi Night market,we witnessed many older man there.What I can presume is that that area is popular with the tourists but also due to sales of pornographic videos which was so openly sold.Beatlenuts ladies along the way were dressed do sexily.Apparently,the fan looking LED lights indicates that a beetlenut stall is there.Mostly undergrads and high school students who want to earn fees and extra keep.Rainbow hotel that we stayed served porridge which dishes tasted local to ours.Toast and hot beverages 

like tea and coffee.Juices.Service was an eight out of ten.Be sure to check out thei street foods such as onion pancake,stuffed rice,sausages.Filled with preserved radish and salted vegetables,glutinous rice and sausage.When on a trip,you can choose to bring the easy pay card or apply for a youth traveller card to enjoy discounts and make payment for mrt ,bus ,and ticketing.Be sure to ask for price before you buy something or else it'll end up a cut throat.Prepare umbrella or ponchos.Swimming attire if visiting a hot spring and try to avoid peak hours.
